Renault Group UK is showcasing its diverse range of light commercial vehicles at the first ever Van Fleet World Live event at ArenaMK on 23rd October.
Renault Group, which comprises both the Renault and Dacia brands, will have a large presence both inside and outside the arena with two vehicles on display inside, and ten vehicles from the LCV range available to test drive by the public throughout the day on a specified test route.
There will be two modified Masters on display for visitors to take a look at – a Master Wellbus and the Master catering conversion for Jamie Oliver’s Food Tube. The Wellbus conversion provides specialised features such as five rear crash-tested seats and full mess facilities, including a tea boiler, water heater, microwave oven and sink with washing facilities. A toilet with washing and drying facilities can be accessed through a separate rear door to ensure the welfare of onsite construction, maintenance and agricultural workers. The Food Tube conversion, created especially for Jamie Oliver’s popular You Tube channel, Food Tube, contains numerous pieces of kitchen equipment such as a professional-grade oven, preparation areas and a serving hatch for the public to see exactly what’s being created.
Renault is able to satisfy around 75 per cent of conversion demands straight from its factories, but it also has a network of 30 UK-based Approved Converters who are highly skilled in building specialist vehicles on demand to Renault’s high standards.
Converted Renault vans are available from any of the company’s 151 UK sales and service outlets, but there are also 38 Renault Pro+ dealers who specialise in business sales, including converted vehicles. These are located throughout the country and have dedicated business sales and aftersales teams with extended working hours to meet the demands of business customers. Every vehicle on display and available to test drive comes with Renault’s four-year, 100,000-mile warranty with roadside assistance.
Steve Wilson, LCV Product Manager, Renault UK commented: “This is the first ever Van Fleet World Live, and we’re excited to be a part of it. Every business is unique with specific requirements and we are committed to providing vehicles to fit those needs and will have a selection of them on display, along with others available to test drive, at the event.
“We have tailored our range to suit the majority of needs with our factory-built conversions so there is only one invoice and one contact, but for customers who require something more specific, our network of Approved Converters is skilled in building specialist and bespoke converted vehicles. We look forward to the inaugural event.”
The extensive Renault four-year warranty package with roadside assistance carries no mileage limit in the first two years and then adds a further two years of cover up to a maximum of 100,000 miles.
Roadside Assistance also lasts for four years and is available all day, every day. If the vehicle cannot be repaired at the roadside or outside the owner’s home it will be towed to the nearest dealer.
The Renault Kangoo is available from £16,715 and is available in two different trim levels and four efficient diesel engines. It can be purchased as a Panel Van or a Crew Van. The Kangoo is also available as part of Renault’s Z.E. range and the 100 per cent electric van is priced from £16,414.
The Renault Trafic is priced from £22,779 and is available with four efficient turbodiesel engines, in a choice of three bodystyles – Panel Van, Crew Van – to carry up to six people and equipment – and Passenger, which seats up to nine people in comfort.
The Renault Master is available from £26,229 in five different engine choices, three bodystyles, plus numerous conversion offerings in two trim levels. Conversions start from £28,845.
Dacia Duster Commercial
Priced from £9,595 and available in both 4x2 and 4x4 options, the Dacia Duster Commercial brings a value-for-money choice to the LCV industry. Standard equipment on all models include roof bars, a toughened plastic floor with two anchorage points, electric front windows, luggage area lighting and Bluetooth, AUX and USB sockets.
The Renault Pro+ network reinforces Renault’s commitment to its professional and commercial vehicle customers, by providing a ‘one stop shop’ where specialist commercial vehicles sales and after sales advisors, extended service hours for business users, within the hour diagnostics and a maximum 48 hours lead time for service and repair ensure that your business minimises unproductive time off the road.
Renault LCV Sales
Renault’s UK van sales for September YTD were 17,636 – up 30.5 per cent and significantly outpacing the LCV market growth of 17.5 per cent.
